You will come across tasks, where you will need to learn and code at the same time in order to complete the task. These tasks are extremely critical in your learning process, as it develops an application mindset. Please make sure you give these tasks your best attempt.

1. Learn and Practice Areas

Tasks that require you to code are divided into two areas on the screen - Learn and Practice. The 'Learn' area helps you understand the subject matter and the 'Practice' area provides you directions to apply the subject matter. We highly recommend all our learners to go over the 'Learn' area before they move on to the 'Practice' area.

2. Understand the Coding Area

The right pane of the screen is the Coding area where one can code and submit the solution.

2.1 Code Area & Data File

This is the place where you code and access the data file you are working on. You can also download the data file for your reference.

2.2 Output Pane

Your output and validation messages will appear in the output pane.

2.3 Try & Submit

'Try' button helps you reference your solution before you submit your solution. A 'try' will not be considered as a final record of the solution. 'Submit' is considered a final record of your solution. Hitting this button will check your code against various parameters. The 'Submit' action will have an impact on your score.

3. Evaluation

GLabs performs qualitative as well as quantitative evaluation of every code the learner submits on the platform.
